This is Aqualou, or black beauty as I like to think of him. When you pull in the driveway, he’s the first horse you’ll see. Always paying attention, he comes right to the fence to greet anyone on any day of the week, rain, snow or sun shining!
Aqualou is a senior STB Gelding in his 20’s, who is very well behaved for anything. He has a neurological disorder that makes him a little unsteady at time on his feet but we haven’t really seen any issues (mostly cautious when he’s having his feet trimmed). He stands like a gentleman for the farrier and vet, as well as for blanketing. No medications needed, and he loves kids! BUT for his safety & ours, NO riding. He’d be great for kids to learn to groom. He is best with one other horse (gelding preferred) at a quiet backyard setting, no boarding barns.
